Monday Movements: A lot of links from a lot of stories in the past week
I had a busy week as crossover season hit a fever pitch (Iowa State football, men's basketball, women's basketball and wrestling). Plus a pod soon to come.
What a week. Or ten days. Or, whatever, in the words of Iowa State 149-pound wrestler, Casey Swiderski, after No. 8 Iowa State lost to No. 4 Iowa, 18-14, in Sunday’s Cy-Hawk dual meet at Hilton Coliseum.
I’ll have plenty to say about football after the transfer portal cools, but one of the players who leaped into it initially surprised anyone around the program. The men’s basketball team absorbed two rough losses at the ESPN Events Invitational near Orlando, Fla., in recent days, but they should be fine as the players get to know each other better on the floor against actual competition.
All of that said, please find links to my recent stories (below). I’ll do another podcast again soon, as well, and I’ll be covering the next ISU men’s basketball game Friday night against DePaul in Chicago.
