The Call is Coming From Inside the House

Why shut down the government

If you are part of it

Why destroy what you depend upon

Where vultures creep and pill bugs crawl

I can give you 500 billion reasons

Why all the prey’s in season

Buzzards pluck, gloaters cluck

Immune from prosecution

Rubles talk and traitors walk

Laughing at the treason

Kill, kill, kill and kill again

The cowards and the seasoned

Those who know

You never go

Outside the “norms”

For any reason

The lines are drawn

The stakes are high

The bought and paid for say goodbye

To everything the myth entailed

The cruel joke reads:

Justice prevails
